CHI SIAMO

Lerici Music Festival

The Lerici Music Festival, now in its 8th edition, represents a unique reality of its kind. Conceived and founded in 2017 by conductor Gianluca Marcianò, a native of Lerici, it aims to be a tribute to his hometown and its inhabitants.

The Festival is organized by the Suoni dal Golfo Association , whose social purpose is the promotion of music and the cultural vocation of the Golfo dei Poeti, of which Lerici is the heart.

One of the most popular tourist destinations in Italy, the “Pearl of the Gulf of Poets” together with its inhabitants, whose history is closely linked to the sea, has been home to intellectuals, artists, businessmen and women from all over the world for centuries.

From these places of artists and seafarers draws inspiration for the LMF, which is characterized, from the very beginning, by a marked international outlook. But also from the versatility of the musical experiences of the guest artists and the originality of the production projects. In just a few years, the Festival has revealed all its potential, becoming a driving force for local development as well as a tool for enhancing the tourism value of the territory. A unique kermesse in the international classical music scene, the LMF, is supported by the Ministry of Culture (MiC), the Region of Liguria and the Municipality of Lerici, while drawing most of its resources from the significant network of friends and enthusiasts who support it and who constitute, to date, one of its hallmarks.
